Re-defining strategy and kick-ass rebrand for NBC's sportswomen focused social-first platform
ON HER TURF was launched by NBC Universal in 2021, to bring their championing of female sportswomen into a social-first space. But it quickly tired, and strategically lost its way. Focusing on score reporting, it felt like just another indistinguishable place to receive sports news.
Knowing the brand could easily access incredible sportswomen and their inspiring stories through NBC Sports, it's been a joy to help the brand realise the awesome story-telling potential they could unlock. Stories that don't simply play-out in sports arenas, stadiums and fields. But that are so much richer. That begin, grow and live inside these phenomenal sportswomen, from young athletes to professional, coaches, refs, physios and in many other surprising, unseen roles women hold in the sports world. Authentic stories that can resonate with all women, in all aspects of life.
